No. Jornada and all affiliates do not provide medical services or mental health therapy and thus do not diagnose, treat or cure any mental health illness of any kind. All participants are encouraged to seek independent medical clearance from their own doctor or mental health therapist before engaging in Jornada’s ceremonies. While no member of Jornada’s team are a state licensed psychedelic facilitator, as such licenses will not exist until 2025, all team members have experience in holding space and ceremonies for the spiritual use of psychedelics.
